What Students Need to Know
The Mash Bash celebration is a progressive party following graduation ceremonies. Following graduation ceremonies, graduates depart from Southside High School for Fort Chaffee at 10:30 pm by buses for an all-night event of music, dancing, sports, dinner, games and fun. It is an alcohol/drug/tobacco free event. Students stay at Fort Chaffee until the buses progress to Southside main gym in the wee hours of the morning for breakfast, awards and prizes.
Get your tickets beginning Tuesday, April 27th! Tickets will be on sale beginning Wednesday, April 27th until the end of school Friday, May 6th. The tickets are sold from 2 tables in the main hall at SHS during the lunch hours between 11:50AM and 1:20 PM. Tickets and t-shirts must be purchased by the end of school Friday, May 6th.You must purchase a $20 ticket to attend, which includes a t-shirt you wear to the event.
WHAT DO WE DO AT FORT CHAFFEE?
As
soon as you arrive at Fort Chaffee you can have your pick of activities.
The mess hall will be laden with pizza, burgers, hot dogs, chicken nuggets,
desserts, fruit, sodas and water. After you fill your belly, stroll over
to the casino and play with “Mash Bash” money at the black jack and poker
tables and toss the dice at the roulette table. You can play xbox live or rock band, race push cars or try your accuracy at basketball or football toss.

Around 2:30 am the buses will load and return to Southside Gym for breakfast, awards and prizes. You can spend your “Mash Bash Dollars” for prizes and drawings will occur until all the great prizes are given away! Previously, prizes given have been gift cards, iPod’s, flat screen TV’s, DVD’s, DVD players, digital camera’s, small refrigerators and microwaves, to name a few.
Where else can you get a t-shirt, eat a ton of food, play games, play casino, hear great music, dance, have breakfast and win incredible prizes for only $20?
