How You Can Support Mash Bash

The Mash Bash celebration is a progressive party following graduation ceremonies. Nearly 300 students depart from Southside High School for Fort Chaffee by buses for an all-night event of music, dancing, sports, dinner, games and casino. It is alcohol/drug/tobacco free and is generously chaperoned by parents and adult volunteers.

 

The students are not allowed to leave Fort Chaffee until the buses progress to Southside main gym for breakfast, awards and prizes. At that time the students are free to return home.

 

For the past twenty years, graduates, parents, faculty and community leaders have embraced Mash Bash because it provides a fun and safe alternative for seniors on graduation night. A project of this magnitude requires a substantial financial commitment. Funding is required for transportation, entertainment, food, refreshments and prizes for approximately 400 graduates. However, the main focus is our graduate’s safety. There is no reason to risk their future! Together, we can make graduation night safe.
